As Crosslines raised awareness over 41 years, people really poured in with donations of food, clothing, and other items. The outpouring was overwhelming. And wonderful. And the building simply couldn't hold it all anymore. So we made a bold decision: a new home for Crosslines.

In the summer of 2026, Carthage Crosslines Ministry will open the doors to a newly purchased and thoughtfully remodeled facility designed to better serve our community for decades to come. This building represents more than added square footage — it is a commitment to dignity, access, and sustainability for the individuals and families who rely on us every day.

Building a New Home

The new location at 2237 Fairlawn Drive will allow Crosslines to operate more efficiently, expand essential services, and welcome neighbors in a space that is accessible, visible, and built for long-term impact. From improved food storage and distribution areas to expanded space for clothing, hygiene items, and community support services, this new home will strengthen our ability to meet immediate needs while helping families move toward stability.

We are deeply grateful to our donors, partners, and volunteers who are making this vision possible — together, we are building hope, opportunity, and a stronger future for our community.

Over the coming months, this space will be completely renewed with new windows, extensive remodeling, landscaping, power washing, and thoughtful updates that will turn it into a welcoming, beautiful place that truly feels like Crosslines.

One of the most exciting finishing touches will be the addition of our large exterior mural — a visual expression of hope, dignity, and community that will proudly reflect who we are and who we serve.

What you see now is only the starting point. What’s coming is a vibrant, accessible, and inviting space where neighbors will be welcomed with warmth and respect, and where lives will be strengthened every single day.  
This transformation is only possible because of our incredible community, and we invite anyone who would like to help — whether through skills, time, resources, or encouragement — to come be a part of it.
