How it all started...
In 1984 local churches came together to meet the needs of people in our community with food and clothing.
What began in a very small building on Lyon Street moved to 6th Street in 1986. 40 years later we now provide assistance for everything except furniture.

Expanding the vision...
As the needs have grown, in 1990 we expanded the building toward the east. Now 2024 the capacity inside of our existing building necessitates we expand once again. This time we will expand to the south. This latest expansion will allow us to not only store our food but it will allow us to take in the donations that help our thrift store thrive. When the thrift store thrives, then our additional programs also thrive.
Where we are headed...
We are currently only focused on the current vision and all that entails. Rest assured we listen for The Lord's wisdom in what comes next. (We have some ideas, but we will save that for later).
